Your new web site is GREAT! I would love a new puppy or possibly a young adult when the time comes and would only buy from you. Your dogs have been wonderful. I can't tell you enough how much I love Sadie and Annie. It's hard to believe that Sadie just turned 12. Yikes-I also hate being 12 years older! Sadie looks wonderful for her age---other people and even my vet remark how well she looks for her age. She still looks regal in her stance and is so dainty. Other than a few "old-age" related benign fatty tumors, Sadie still eats well and does her famous proud "prance" when she walks. She does like to sleep more and snores a lot louder-especially after long walks.
Annie is also doing well and she is the super-star in her role as a pet visitation dog at Littleton Adventist Hospital. Everyone loves her---patients and staff and she is so gentle with everyone, including small kids in the emergency room. In addition, Annie and I were chosen to be in a corporate PR spot for Centura Health---Littleton is a Centura Hospital. They did a few film clips of Annie visiting with patients. By watching Annie's behavior in the hospital, I have learned a lot about what dogs can sense in people. When Annie walks into the hospital, she knows that she is "working" and senses anxiety or very ill/near dying people and will not only put her head on the patients bed, but also walk over to a distressed family member in the room to gently greet them or let them give her a hug. Very touching at times..
Needless to say, both dogs are loved and very spoiled, but well-behaved. Annie is the alpha over Sadie and constantly has a toy in her mouth and ready to play fetch.
I know that you are also busy with work, but would love to get together. I would love to see your puppies or have Don and you come over to my house. Thanks for keeping in touch and I hope to see you soon!
